I know your comment is old, but thought I would comment anyways. My doctor put me on this because I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and therefore, it's really hard for me to lose any weight thanks to my body becoming insulin resistant. I've taken this for a while and I went from 87.9kg down to 79.3kg that's 8.6kgs or roughly 18-20lbs depending on if I've cheated or not. I would suggest talking to your doctor and also don't just Diet & work out change your life style! :)
